Re: Ml triton
Depends what you want it for... I do a bit of off-road and a fair bit of towing and found the torque better placed (@2000rpm) in the diesel for my purposes... Side by side, the new diesel goes better and with similar acceleration to my MK 3.0 V6Oldmate Diesel wrote:Hey people i am currently looking at buying a new triton 3.5 v6 petrol manual does anyone have one and are they a good vehicle

I wish my lawn was EMO, then it would cut itself...
I get mine in 2 weeks but I did get a day long test drive when I ordered it...Oldmate Diesel wrote:I think it will be limited off road as you can only do a 30mm spring lift but i am doing a lot of towing.
Have you put bigger tyres under yours?
As for the offroad stuff, seriously unless you are going rock crawling they are very capable - I just about sick to death of people looking at me like I'm an amateur when I rock up in a V6 triton with 31" muds on, then the snide comments start... And then the smirks are wiped off their faces when I manage to go everywhere they go...
I'll be running two sets of wheels again, stockies for everyday and a set of sunny's with 31 or 32" muds
Personally I would forego the rear locker and fit a front ARB or similar - the Mitsu LSD is a tight unit and works well
Just my $0.02
