Warn low mount Cut down Q's

Post by hypo »

The winch in question is a Warn M5000.

Just wondering if any body here has cut down (shortened the length of the drum) on a Warn M5000 low mount winch ?

If so what is the most you can cut it down by ?

Also has anybody got pix of how they have done it ?

Or even pix of another model/brand low mount winch that they have cut down ?

I am going to do this to a M5000 I have here on the weekend, just trying to get as much info up my sleeve before I strip it down and cut into it on the weekend.

Cheers guys.
