excuse his rudeness, there is plenty of threads on diesel gas set up and power gains on the board. with the cash rebate it works well for about a grand ,also if you have a turbo already i think you get better gains (power) Just pick a reputable company or some one not so rude may be able to recomend a place to do it for you and give you advice

Mongo! Like candy?

Sorry.

Welcome to OL. :D

I haven't seen too many discussions here, but some time back there was a story in 4wd Monthly, LPG injection on a NA diesel Troopy. Power was much better, diesel consumption was vastly improved, but the added cost of LPG consumption really chewed into savings - from memory, it was slightly cheaper to run, but not much.

I'm not sure what difference the changes in fuel prices would make.

i think you all missed the point they have a new system, and i too would be interested in some good workplaces to do some ringing around of, with the rebate, and already have a tank, convertor and lines, im thinking i can almost do mine for nothing :)

Apologies Mongo was just having a bad day and there have been a few disscussions on this already.

I had it installed and then removed as it was on a n N/A vehicle at the time and was not giving great power or fuel economy figures. I worked out it would take something like 5 years to pay for itself and you have to replace them every 5 or 10 years (can't remember) so it wasn't cost effective for me.
Cost about $2000-$4000 depending on which system and who installs it.
I had Torque Gas install mine as they were the cheapest; system failed 4 times in the time a had it too (about 3 months).
Kind Regards,
