Hi,

im trying to find out how much travel i can get from a set of these rancho RS5000's from top to bottom, If anyone knows it would be appriciated

I'm pretty sure it depends on the length of the string.

Not sure on the length, im goin to change the suspension to top/middle mount / \ <--- was just wondering what size i would need, i have 2" lifted springs and am looking at drop shackles, lader bar etc.

If youre not sure of length, how can we be? You haven't even told us what car they're for :roll:

RS 5000's are available with up to 15" of travel/36" long fully extended, but these are only required for compensation. Remember laying shocks over means they work on a ratio, so you will get 20% or so more wheel movement than shock shaft travel. You should be fine with 11-12" of shaft travel, even with stupid scissor shackles.
