hey guys

i bought i set of the hella truck l.e.d lights and i finally got to install them on my truck yesturday so i took a pic, what do you guys think?? also i got the new plates yesturday too.

not bad, not bad. how strong are they? i know i smash standard lights every trip out in the stock mounting position

and how much did they set you back? I have been wanting those lights too but as bad_regilion mentioned they are prone to getting busted..

i think i got quotes for about $250/each for those lights and would want them protected first.

they are pretty strong actually, probably 100% stronger than stock lights and i didnt pay $250 a light, my mate owns a auto electrical shop and i got them for what he pays for them which is $117 a light but shhhh haha

I've had mine for about 4 years.

They were fitted in an angle frame top and bottom, then I welded angle on each side to prevent them being stolen and damaged when reversing into trees.

Awsome lights.

You can get them new and cheap on eBay. I got 3 sets and the cheapest I got a set for was $107. Do a search on hella duraled 2379. There is a never ending supply of them there.

why are they black on the ends? ive seen only red or blue? or have you painted or run tape on them?

ive built my entire rear bumper to protect these... they are $$ but so pimpin schweet
hands and mums dont count!!!

i put black vinyl over the red end caps coz the red stood out to much, i think they look better than stock anyway
