A coiler with chrome rims and a sticker. They were a legitimate limited edition. They had chrome vitara rims stock.

This one also has a hiclone and a fuel saver catalyst though, so it adds fuel to the tank as you drive!

as above but it also came with a lighter grey interior, different trim on the seats, colour coded bumpers and soft top and most of them had a/c as factory.

At the time of release, Suzuki auto was distributed state by state and this model was't released in every state (at least not NSW).

So, does that mean Hi-Clones only work in QLD? :D

No, but it's probably one of the few mod's that will pass a RWC in Queensland.

I've seen a few of these 'Surfs", and this one is missing half the features.

The silver coloured rag top
The "surf" stickers down the side
The chromed wheels (Steve I thought they were the terrible offset coily holed wheels, not vitara???)
Original "Surf" spare wheel cover
Chromed nudge bar (every one ive seen had one anyway)
Chromed 'sliders' (like nudge bar, I've seen them on every surf).

I'd question if this actually was a genuine artical, not just a silver coloured Coil Sierra. Not that I know anyone who would want a limited edition Sierra anyway...
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.

They're the same wheel with the same offset. The launch date Vitara brochure (late 1988) showed vitara's with chrome rims too.
