injector crack pressure TD42T

Post by uzdnabuzd »

Hi,

just wondering if anyone can help me with injector crack pressures.

My question is..... How much boost can you run before you have to change the crack pressure of the injector? And what is it normally changed to?

Any help would be great

Thanks

x2, can increasing the cracking pressure increase performance? There is a fair bit on patrol 4x4 forum but for some reason it wont let me search or post threads, dont know why

Both n/a and fact td42t opening pressures are 110 bar +- 5. Setting them higher gives no power increase, it just allows for better atomisation and penetration into the compressed air.

Best to leave them at the higher spec, unless its a performance unit.
