We would need to know what model Toyota you have first.

Secondly, if you live in a high crime rate area, leaving a car open will save heaps of repair costs to locks, panels and windows. I even suggest getting a secret kill switch, leaving the keys in the ignition, disabling the fuel supply and gauge with secret kill switch and not securing your radio too well will save you an insurance claim, as smashing the steering column or dash to bits will cost a lot more than a crappy radio is worth.

Exception to that rule is - My mate had a 1 tonne'r with a metal box on the tray, closed, empty and not locked, but they still bent the corner of the lid to look inside, instead of just opening the hasp and lift the lid. Lid was a write-off. Would have been better to leave it in the open position.

Quarter window

Post by mercury6 »

Same thing happened to me about a year ago....

Obrien's wanted like $180 for a 60's front quarter window

Made my own out of Clear Lexen..... now I'll just laugh at the next person who attempts to break that one...

Lexen cost me about $35.00
