Check the earth straps to your engine and the battery and returns for your wiring harness near the ecu if it has one. (I don't know this model)

Also check for corrosion on every possible pin or terminal in every plug, reset them all one at a time. You may find the culprit.

I know the Comm V6 engine gets corrosion in the DIM module pins and they just wont fire either.

What about fuel supply, filter, strainer and pump if it's EFI?

Fuel pressure? Map sensor? (I'm going off the commo engines here not Isuzu, sorry) ECU problems?

Mates Rodeo would turn over but not start; found it to be the fuel pump wiring that is under the (drivers side i think) behind a little access panel. It was just a 8 or 16 pin male-female connection junction but it was corroded real bad.
It is amazing how quickly you can find and replace these things when you are on the beach with an incoming tide
Kind Regards,
