G'day all,

On Saturday I picked up my first Range Rover.....all I can say is AWSUME !!. I have owned a Series IIA LWB and a Stage I V8 preivously (still have Stage I) and have used these vehicles off road alot in the past, but the RR is miles ahead.

Went 4wding on Sunday arvo and with only 29" All Terrains on was going through mud just as well as Hi-lux's with 33" Mud's on ....I was very happy.

Its a 1984 model, 4dr, LPG, Power steering, Air con, but very stock(but not for long). It cost me $2500 I will get pic's asap.

There are afew things I need to do to it, one is it is overgeared. It was an auto but was converted to manual (LT77 and LT230) but the transfercase is still the auto highrage gearing (higher ratio than the manual version), so I need the get a manual ratio for it OR get maxi-drive 4.1's for the diff before I fit 33" tyres.

I plan on getting a 2" suspension lift, but can't decided if I want a 2" body lift or not.

yep that will happen pirate4x4 won't let you link pictures externally
off their site as it steals their bandwidth. Outerlimits do this as well, keeps the data transfer down a bit - looks like he has fixed it though
