I was under the bonnet of the GQ (EFI) and i happend to unplug one of the wires that goes to the solenoid that bleeds off vac (attached to the lpg computer/controller thingy), the revs changed so i plugged it back in but it didnt change back!!
Now when on lpg it idles at around 1100rpm instead of around 650rpm. I can drop the rpm by winding the idle mixture right in (rich) but it runs a bit rough and smells!!
When i switch to petrol its fine and idles at 650rpm as usual.
Any ideas???
Also just a question to ppl that know these systems it now makes no rpm difference when i unplug the wires to the solenoid but when i unplug the lpg computer/controler the revs drop. What else is this controller connected to?? How is it changing the revs when the other solenoid is not even wired up (i unplugged controller and it dropped revs the same with solenoid plugged and unplugged)
Any help would be great.
Cheers
James
PS: Can u run the LPG without the controller? Does it make much difference?

GQII Patrol YAY!!
I would suggest that whilst the engine is off, you disconect the line again till you loose all vac, then reconnect it.
And start motor again
before you do this, make sure what you have adjusted before is back exactly where it was before you adjusted it.
