Given that people are destroying radiator fans, is it a good idea to disconnect your fan?, i know this might not be so easy on trucks were the fan runs off the fan belt, but wouldnt this stop a) showering engine bay with goop, b) stop you from possibly putting a big foot wide hole in your radiator?

haha there will be plenty of loud pedal involved.
you still get alot of crap thrown around by the belts and pullys, but it does make a big difference.
get an electric fan setup because when your in the water its will cool it down enough so the fan doesnt kick in or a manual shut off switch could be use.
