Yep , thats one option , I dont have any more money and it needs more advertising , to get more customers , to get money to do more to the place. I would hate to see it fold , so now maybe someone else can put their spin on the place and see if they can make it work better. Maybe I didnt have enough capital in the first place to give the right appeal. Oh well I only set it up to be mainly for day trippers , being so close to Bris and the Gold Coast. If no-one is interested I will sell it to someone who wants to turn it into a bike park , before the bank gets hold of it.

Pete

CITYVIEW is still open as per usual so if you want to come , ring and book.

Good Luck Pete. Hopefully someone with the right attitude and drive and obviously finances can take this place on and make it into a premiere 4wd destination in SE QLD.

Dont ever let anyone tell you you didnt give it a real go. You have done and put up with a lot more than I ever could have. Im sorry i have never been able to give you a hand in any way. Again Good Luck with the sale. It would be a shame to see the place close the doors compleatly.

Hey all

There are quite a few cars now nominated , including a good contingent from Nth NSW.

The event is going to be great , it will have rained for the previous 3-4 days so looks like it will be fun. There are 2 main stages run twice , once forwards and once in reverse , with a mystery stage on Sat morning to warm things up. The 3rd stage on Sat is held after dark so lights will be needed.

Remember , the main thing about the City-View Trials is that it an ENTRY LEVEL event and the stages are stepped to cater for the classes. The scoring system is based on points , so , unlike most other events , you can BYPASS an obstacle and get a points penalty , that way if you feel you will DNF or break your car you can go around and keep in the competition. Its not all about driving , its about using your head , strategy. So if anyone is worried about damaging their rig , its will only be broken if you go too hard.

So , if anyone is interested and hasnt nominated , it isnt too late.

Cheers

Pete

Hey all

As for any nite run , lights are important , good vision of the terrain and lighting for the navigator (rock lights) are important , so if needed guidance can be given over the rocks and logs where the wheels are.

I am hoping to have enough officials , but if anyone out there wants to stick their hand up and help out , mainly keeping an eye on spectators and using a radio to let me know how compeditors are going on the stages. Entry for compeditors will be free and you will need a hand held radio.

I also would like a back up recovery car , one with a winch that is very capable. If someone wants to come Sat and someone else wants to come Sun thats fine , or if one person wants to do it both days , first in best dressed. Again you will need a UHF and you get in free for the weekend.

Finally if there is anyone out there that wants to video or take stills of the event let me know and who you are working for (or most likely to be published thru) I am keen for the event to be covered by all media.

Finally , if you want to come and spectate then let us know , all are welcome , std park day fees apply. (We dont increase fees when there is a comp on in the park)

See you all Sat
