1.6 swap?
eeehh.
Your sierra motor is a carby motor (no ecu)
the vit motor is an injected motor (1 ecu)
btw the ecu runs the motor and not the other way around.
1.6 carb block and 1.3 carb head will work btw.
answer your Q?

Can you run a 1.6 head and EFi with a 1. bottom end? Hmm maybe. It wouldn't be all that good though - my guess is it would only start making good power high in the rev range.
The bigger question is why you'd want to pull the head and manifolds off a 1.6 and leave the 1.6 bottom end? the 1.6 makes lots more torque due to the stroke increase.
Steve.

It'd be like a G13BB in the Jimny with the wrong pistons, much like putting the 16v efi setup on an 8v carby Vit.Gwagensteve wrote:Can you run a 1.6 head and EFi with a 1. bottom end? Hmm maybe.
