D22 radio cover plate ?

gday guys this thing is doing my head in i need to get that cheezy silver cover off around my radio on the dash of my nissan d22 dualcab 4x4 so i can try to fit my uhf in the spare hole underneath the radio i can find only 2 screws to take out but thats it surely it cant be that hard does any know how its done please any one cheers steve. :oops:
i dont naturaly look this bad work done it to me

ive done it, was a while ago now tho. but from memory it was just the two screws that you undo from underneath and then u just pull it off. sorry dont have the nav here to double check

take the whole front centre surround off.
a couple screws midway then unclip 2 clips right at the bottom. bit of a trick to finding them and poping them out. then pull bottom of the surround and it should come off.
then its 4 screw beside the radiowick will allow the radio and and plastic cubourd/cup holders to come out together.

hopefully your UHF has screw locations on the side of it so it can screw straight to the bracket.

cup holders ?.. its a D22 no cup holders in that surround not sure u guys on the same wave length u sure

i think we were one of the few markets to not get the cup holders..the rest sounds rite

cup holders where an optoin and fitted in the other din location.

i only have bottom model ute so it doesn't come with them :(
