6.2 chevy and diff ratios
6.2 chevy and diff ratios

offroad pretty nice. Will idle over anything, but with 33s and no lift you will drag it! I would think gearing be fine offroad depending on what x-fer you got. Hwy he is right not so great but also not to bad, maybe top 100-110k/hr?
What x-fer you running, chevy? I would spend the money and go Atlas 4spd, lockers, bit of lift and 35's. Then you be really happy!!
turbo, non-turbo?

I run standard 4.1 diff ratio's behind my 6.2 with standard GQ g'box + transfer.
I find it great offroad and will go almost anywhere, 1st low range has awesome torque and will crawl over some tough terrain.... I play with it and have some fun sometimes just to see what it is capable of. And onroad I find it to be good too, I can cruise at about 120k/hr no probs on the freeway and it loves it, just need to get into it when you have a bit of an uphill climb but rerely do you have to go back to 4th gear.
Hope that helps,
by the way, you may want to get a kit form the US that joins all the main bearing caps together and strengthens it up as these engines are known to crack in the main bearing webbing(No 2 & 3 i think... could be wrong though)
Cheers,
Brighty.
