seat belts
seat belts
anyone know if retractable seat belts out of vitara or later model sierras(if they have em) will fit my 85 drover? they get dirty if left hanging out door when you play in the mud.
Yep, it will depend a bit on model. Many cars with fixed belts will have had 6" speakers hacked into the inertia reel well. IT has 4 large philips head screws covering it.
I 've worked extensively on a mid 80's drover tub and it definitely has the inertia reel wells.
Traybacks don't have the well, but they do have another bolt hole that will accept an external reel belt. (like the GQ one you mentioned, although I'm not familiar with them.
Pretty much all seatbelt mounting bolts are the same - there to an SAE spec.
Steve.
