Slow build up.....finally getting back into it.

Post by Drewfus »

After being busy with life in general, I'm finally getting back into the zook toy. As previously mentioned, this will be a slow, multi stage project, with rego being the first thing on my mind, and mods like bigger tyres and suspension/driveline mods to follow as the time allows.

Nothing radical, or crazy, just common mods like rear springs up front, 33's, welded W/T. diffs(I've sold my Hilux diffs..... ), and r/hopper S3 to come, but for now, just want it on the road to enjoy/thrash.

The chassis has been 'adjusted', now sport's 1.3L driveline.
Body was gutted, and interior panelwork repaired and now has a 'fresh' coat of bright orange paint. Yeah, orange has been done before, but I like it. THe hard part to decide is if I put the flames on it or not......

Anyhow, here's a rough photo, aim for this chrissy holiday is to put the interior (like heater/dash/steering/wireing/roll bar etc) back in and get drivable so I can then start work on the exterior tart up for rego.....

nice work drewfus - and the panel damage on the sill is a great touch - even before the build up officially gets started

orange with flames yuck why would you want to do that ;)

Either my monitor is playing up or that looks like blue and red and if you mix them you get purple.

Other than the colour issues sounds like a great litlle rig. Now get out there and take some action pics

And then the nice men in white coats and the padded van turn up to "help you into the truck" and take you to a nice "rubber room" until you are better :D
