60 series, 308, power steering

Post by hurricane »

i was just wanting to know what people have done for a power steering pump when running a v8 in there landcruiser?

should i run the holden pump, fitment wise it will be sweet, but will it work with the 60's steering box?

or should i make mounts and change the pully so the 60's pump will fit to the 308?

the 6-'s pump needs some work to it also as it pumps out the oil from the filler when there is heavy load on the steering.

whats you thoughts?

cheers, dan

I'd just be using the holden pump if you've got it. Run a cooler and you should be right. I'm using the ford pump on my ford motor with no issues.
