Question about Engineers report regarding body lift

Post by e32 »

Gday

I recently purchased an 84 hilux, the car has 3 Inch body lift as well as a host of other modifications. I have an engineers report for it, but when i went to get it RWC, they said they couldnt do it because the bodylift wasnt engineered, however i had a look over the report, and in the detail of the modifications, it doesnt say anything about the bodylift, but it has a small section up the top where it says what components have been changed / modified and are certified.

It says "Body /Chasis : modified cab mountings"

Do you think this refers to the bodylift?

Thanks for any advice, i made a post on 4wdworld about this, but didnt get any useful informations,

Cheers
