Warn Winch install

Post by kalcruiser »

Hi all has anyone ever fitted a warn 9.5xp (apparantly same as Warn 9000,10000,12000 mounting pattern) to a solid axel 100 series ARB bullbar. Im trying but there must be something missing like a mounting plate???? I am aware that i need to mount the winch bottom bolts through the bullbar to the rolllers but doing that means there will be nothing to mount top bolts?????????

Sounds like you need a mouting plate/frame that bolts to the chassis.

I know it's not the same but my old man's 100 IFS Sahara bar has a seperate cross member with winch mounting plate. Prob best to ring ARB and ask ...

early live axle lc100 arb bars had a winch cradle that mounts to the chassis and holds the winch, with the feet facing down, and just the roller fairlead mounted to the bar.
the bullbar mounts to this cradle.
are there 2 or 4 holes in the front of the bar?
