Joining the Suzuki Club

Post by GQAndrew »

Well on Monday i am picking up a brand new GV Prestige  i was concerned about the fuel economy of the V6 Auto for a while but the deal we got offered was fantastic!

However i have just noticed that there is going to be a new V6 released in a few months, its a 3.2L, is this suzukis attempt to offer more power for the high economy, or has anyone heard what sort of economy figures they are predicting for the new V6. It annoys me a little however the amount we saved (around $6000) due to promotions and haggling still sees me ahead!

Yes, there are new powertrains coming but they haven't been publicised yet. Will be in the new Suzuki customer magazine published sometime around now.

I think the 3.2 V6 (N32A) is a Suzuki variant of the GM Global engine and has 165kW@6200rpm and 284Nm@3500rpm with a 5 speed auto and does 10.9l/100km while the 2.4 4cyl (J24B) may be a variant of the J20A and has 122kW@6000rpm and 225Nm@4000rpm and does 9.4l/100km with the 4 speed auto and 9.1l/100km with the 5 speed manual. Both are VVT. It also looks like they finally get rear discs.
