ball joint flip kits
ive a 96 2.8td lwb pajero and im after a ball joint flip kit for the front what are you guy's views on these and were can i get them from
thanks ian
thanks ian
There is no 'kit' required as all you need is 6 x 10mm bolts to replace the 8mm bolts currently in there.
Then you must get a wheel alignment as you will be driving like \ /
Details of the flip are HERE
To do a BJ flip + spacer is where you need new bolts + new bolts to mount the upper wishbone to the chassis + the spacer machined up.
I'd just do the flip only.

Compare this picture to yours and you'll see.
You really need to look at yours to see. The ball joint is bolted to the bottom of the arm instead of dropping through it as it comes from factory. As it is bolted to it this is why you put bigger bolts in.

Yep thats it, on my challenger i needed around 8mm of spacer to correct the camber.
I actually got it aligned, and they use multiple thin shims to get it right, then i pulled them out and made a set out of some bar steel. Stopped me breaking upper control arm bolts.
