hey
i got a big problem with my sierra. i put a g16b in it. with efi and it was fine up until a couple weeks ago. then one day the fuel pump relay died on me. fixed that with abit of wire. now its doin the same thing as before which was the fuel pump just wouldnt work. turn the key and nuttin. still spins the engine just no power to the fuel pump. sometimes it works sometimes nuttin. once it works it doesnt cut out. i need to get it fixed asap cause its the only car i got.
any help would be great

hey,

Sounds like u got earth issues. or wiring in general.

double check the wiring and run a direct earth to batt to get rid of any screw earth issues.

i would for now maybe or at least make sure it is a secure earth. not just a tek screw into the chassis.

relay earth i would yes.

got a temporary fix, its hooked up to a switch for now lol. not safe i no but i got a car till i get time to look at it properly.

take it to a good auto sparky, they will find the problem in 5 minutes cause they have all the gear.

if they start telling you its a hard job walk out cause they are trying to screw you.
