PTO WINCH WILL IT FIT????

im looking at getting a pto winch for my 1984 Fj40 which has the orignal 5spd in it and i wondering it the out put box off a hj60 will bold onto my transfer, also does anyone know ehat the cradle that holds it bolt onto and how high it sits up????

the pto drive will fit
the winch head is the same the cradle is wider

driveshaft will be too long but easy to shorten the front section and redrill a new hole for the sheer pin

all this is assuming that its the thomas winch not the genuine toyota


i have a spare 40 series winch head cradle sitting here that i may part with for the right $$

thanks Milo :finger: , but do i need to remind u that my car is able to be driven off road while urs sits in a shed???? and im only just getting use to this truck and will be getting there soon enough, just want to fix it all and get it ready, then i can follow where ur beast will be going :)
