vitara front sway bar
vitara front sway bar
hi all , i have a 96 swb vitara with 1 inch ome lift + 30 mm spring sracers front and rear running 225/75/15 bf muddies.from what i have read on here it seems i can ditch my front sway bar with little or no negative effects is this right?
Vitara Swaybars
I have owned about 6 Vitaras, and the first thing I do to them is remove the swaybar. I have a 65mm suspension lift in my current one, and I can belt around corners without even the thought of losing it or rolling it.
I do, however, have 7in slightly offset rims and 235's. I probably wouldn't be quite so brave on the pizza cutter stocker wheels.
As far as I'm concerned, taking the swaybar off has very little effect to the on-road performance, and I have never broken a CV offroad in 4wd mode. I'd very comfortably say that with your minimal lift you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
