I was wondering if GQ Nissan Body rubbers have a steel sleeve through the middle??, I have urathane ones from jeep city they dont have much give and come a little loose and I keep having to tighten them, now they are squshed as flat as a tack, I would like to use rubber ones now, but would I have to use GQ rubbers or would another model of vehicle have rubbers that would fit, ie Navara??

Well I put the GQ rubbers on the MK chassis today, the GQ ones are 25 mm bigger than the MK ones. Also the rubber that goes through the chassis is 32mm round and the MK chassis hole is 22mm. so I had to put a piece of 20mm jarrah between the body and chassis and used a 32mm hole saw to make the new rubbers fit, the next prblem was that the the 2 front bolts ended up needing to be at least 160mm long, but all they had everywhere i looked was 150mm, so I couldn't get the nut on the thread. the bottom rubber compresses about 10mm when tightened, but I will just have to order some bolts on Monday. 3rd problem, For some reason ( if anyone knows, please tell me) the front GQ rubbers(behind the front wheel) are different to the next 3 rubbers, the front ones are solid and the others are castelated at the top and seem to compress more, but Nissan sent me one front and 7 rear ones (the hummer replica only uses 8, the hood swivels from the very front mounts) So I will have to wait for Nissan to get another one for me, I will have to wait to see how much better these rubbers will be. I did get a 25mm body lift for my effort.

The first rubber is the rear rubbers, the 2nd rubber are the front ones, does anyone know why the front rubbers are different to the rest, when the weight of the body is on the rubbers the rear ones compress to the same height as the front ones, just wondering why they would be softer than the front ones. and would it make much difference if I used the rear rubbers in the front, or if i used the front rubbers for all the rubbers, any help would be great.
