Looking at a 1993 Triton Club Cab

Post by ca18escort »

Guys,
What sort of money should I be looking at paying for a 1993 Trition Club Cab wuth 200k on the clock. It needs 2 new front tyres and the body is a little rough. It has seen beach work as there is sand through it and I have my doubts about the LSD as it is chirping the inside wheel through roundabouts. Also there is a whine coming from the g'box. I would appreciate any advice that you can give as I am new to all this stuff as I have only ever owned Hilux's in the past.

Cheers
Paul

It probably isn't as bad as I have made out but yes it is a little rough. It is the 3.0 V6 Manual. The guy has $11,000 on it but I was thinking more along the lines of $7,500. Is it normal for the LSD to tighten up like that on tight corners. Alll other cars that I have owned you don't know that the LSD is there until you start spinning the wheels.
