just wondering what temp your engine oil should be at after say 10 minutes of idling.?
if it helps its a 3vze v6 petrol 4runner

I just laughed at myself when I read this and then though about it.
I have an oil temp guage in the hilux.
I know where the needle points if its normal driving and where it points if I`ve been giving it a hard time.
But I have no idea what the temp is at those spots :lol:

well iv just put a gauge in and it only goes up to 55 degrees at idle, cant drive to see if it goes up as i have a broken leg

Yeah mine stays low untill driven.
Even then its some where around the same as the water temp till it gets lots of revs for long periods of time :armsup:
