Whats that old saying that I've modernized for this scenario
"fuked over once, shame on her, fuked over twice, shame on me."

James, I had done a Google on the 9.5XP and continued through the results looking for the best price.
Amazing the difference in prices.
I ended up buying a Highmount locally.
But anything I want to purchase from the States, this is what I do and usually paying with Paypal.

And have you looked at the XD9000's that sell on Ebay second hand.
They run the same Ratio as the 9.5XP (same g/box?).
Whack on a 6HP motor.
9.5XP!!!
Fastest line speed under load.

hey thanks for the head ups.......

a mate of mine can probably bring back a winch via ship freight for free (im hoping) then just have to get it send down from brisbane to melb no issue...

but im positive the xd9000 are a different winch........ My other option is to buy one locally for $1700..........
