TD42t turbocharger specs.

Post by Devious »

Heyyas. I have been looking and just cant find the answers I am after.

I would like to know what A/R the exhaust housing is on a standard TD42 turbocharger, also, what mounting flange size they are t2, t3, t4 etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that.

I am trying to get a turbo that closely matches the stock turbo on the cheap. EG, Skyline R32/33 turbo. I have a turbo of an R32 GTS-t witting here that has been recoed but I am not sure if the exhaust housing will be too small for the 4.2

As best I'm aware, the closest is a T3. Could be wrong, but pretty sure.

That is my other option, stick a bigger turbo on my wifes car and steal her To3. Although, this turbo of the R32 has a t3 flange where it bolts up to the manifold.

I wonder how far off an RB30 or even RB25det exhaust manifold is from fitting the TD42?
