my truck, 3"suspention lift 2" body, boosted up turbo running 11 pound at the moment on the 4jb1t. 32x11.5 All Terrains on 15x8 sunraisers. has a front mount now 300x600x80 being plumbed up next weekend and also getting the exhaust done, 3.5" stainless with one hotdog running from the turbo along under the door and dumps just before the rear tyre. should be running around 15-16 pound once the intercooler is going. also im looking to upgrade the turbo (any ideas?)

Hi, I'm new at it, but i was advised that photobucket was a bit slow... and sometimes the links disappear... I used

http://imageshack.us/

which is supposedly faster and you dont need to join (optional - which i might do later)

- in imageshack, find the "browse" button and click it... then select a photo on your pc to upload to their site

- then in the imageshack page it is a good idea to resize the pic, 1024*768 FILLS the screen... next time i will use 800*600

- then click the "host it" button

- the imageshack page will return a list of links.. at the very BOTTOM of that page is a link describes as "Direct link to image"
Highlight and copy that link...

- then in the Outerlimits Posting box, write your text (this will appear at the top of your pic
- then click the orange "Img" button which should display a square bracket '[' 'img' ']' ,
- paste the link copied from imageshack directly after that
- then click the 'img' button again which will insert '[' '/img' ']'
-add any text youd like after that too (which will appear at the bottom of your pic.

> you can add several pics in the same way. Dont forget EACH pic needs the Img button before and after

- then you can preview.. and submit ..

:) Looking forward to seeing your pics :)

After a loooong weekend underneath... bj flip (no spacers), keeping full rubbers & rear leaf over, opting to keep original shackles...

my garage (where i get all my work done) has told me that they are ordering a bunch of lift kits which are designed differently or sumthing, anyways they make it possible to lift the mu more than the normal 5 inches, when he has this lift availible i will be getting it straight away, he said it should put atleast another 5 inches on what i have already, making 35"x 12.5"'s possible. i am also designing a bad arse twin exhaust starting with a new turbo elbow, instead of the sufecating s bend of doom that it has atm. exhaust size will be 3 inch and have one cannon paralell to the side of the truck exiting before the back wheel, badass.

i really dont know, ill find out for thos with the mu's cause i know evryone wants bigger lift. this could be the first leagal lift kit availible. to give a rough idea of how much it can lift, the owner of the place has a hilux and its raised of its tits running 35" tyres. hes going to use the raise kit on his lux and says its going to end up being about 5 inches of lift ontop of what he already has. not including the lift the 40" tyres will give him.

Yawn.... good night run last night - 1st real go at it ... thanks Bart!

Measure for the MU lift (from wheel centre to top of wheel arch) on 33" tyres: Before-> front 510mm & rear 500mm: After-> front * 6 turns of the torsion bar adjustment = 540mm rear * spring over diff convertion = 640mm

Great rear flex! For the spring over (=diff drop?) needed to extend driveshaft 60mm, ground off and rewelded the spring perches on top, and doubled brake line to 800mm...
Next is spacers under the bj flip (some more front flex), hmmm need to adjust the headlights, and a front lokka one day....

muvova, a diff drop is for the IFS
the brackets that hold then diff get extended, either cut and re-weld or buy/build bigger brackets
