Which MU is tha go 2.8 TD or the 3.1TD

Ok guys im on the hunt for an MU for lil sis and want to know some of the pro's and con's with em my thinking is no substitute for cubes and go with the 3.1TD tho what is the beta engin i dont mind doin some mods to the 2.8TD if there a beta option i can do all the bits like intercooler and exhaust and pump mods but id just like to see what other peoples expreiences ar with both engins ....

i own a 2.8 mu ive had a few drama here and there with altinators and blow by but with a bit of time and patiance there fairly easy to nut out a lil tight in some places to work on but you get that... most of my problems came from buying mine from a scrap yard so i have been expecting things to go wrong most because the lack of maintanance from the previose owner having thrashed it for some time and not servicing it and dunking it in the drink sence iv put it one the road ive had to tinker with a few things as expected but all in all quite a capable little truck and as mine is proof fairly bullet proof too all parts can also be found here in oz they are a mix of rodeo and jackaroo all you need to know
