What size winch?

Post by vSAHARAx »

Hey all

Im toying with the idea of buying a winch. Will most brands fit into an ARB deluxe winch bar? Was looking at a T-max but dont know what size would be optimum. I have an 80 Series Cruiser. Its twin locked, 4-5" lift and off-road i run 35" ET2's so if im going to need to winch its obviously going to be serious. a 9500lbs wouldnt be enough would it? Im not after speed but if im going to buy one i dont want to say to myself later on "bugger should have gone bigger.

Cheers All

Get a 12,000Lb it shouldn't let you down. providing it fits the winch but I think it's only the gearing that is different up to 12,000Lb.

Cheers

Get a Warn, don't waste time and money....or upgrade an X9 with a Warn 6hp motor....fits straight in and imporves power and reliability significantly.
