I think we only had 5 NSW entries and 2 are in the top 15, good stuff.

HI THERE SPOKE TO ROB TODAY GOT SOME NEWS ABOUT THE NEW UNBREAKABLE CVS WELL THEY DO, IT WAS SUNDAY NIGHT ONLY 30MINS INTO STAGE 1

HOW DOES THIS WORK
YESTERDAY I THINK IT WAS STAGE 11 ROB GETS TO MUD SECTION NEAR END OF STAGE , 7 CARS IN FRONT TRYING TO GET THROUGH ROB HELPS OTHERS AND THEN SOMEONE ASKS AN OFFICIAL IF THEY CAN BREAK THE BUNTING TO WIDEN THE ENTRY INTO THE MUD SECTION. THEY GET THE OK AND TAKE A BUNTING PENELTY WITH OTHER CARS AS WELL SO THEY DONT DNF, WHILE ROB STILL HELPS OTHER CARS HE THEN DNFS FOR RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

FAIR I DONT THINK SO

FROM WHAT I HEARD BOB AND DAMO DID A SIMALAR THING IN BREAKING THE BUNTING TO GET AROUND OTHERS AND COP A DNF FOR IT.

SEEMS THAT THERE IS NO CONSISTANTSY WITH THE RULES AND OFFICIALS.

ROB ALSO BROKE A FEW OTHER THINGS BUT IS HAVING FUN AND DOING WELL.

KEEP ON KICKEN ASS TO ALL THE QUEENSLANDERS

Updates for Thursday

Wednesday night saw Car 12 (Dan & Graham) retire as they tore off a knuckle on the front diff and did major damage to the diff housing, so they are out. Also car 51(Clive & Tom) DNF wednesday night stage with starter motor issues.

Thursday the group were split into 3 smaller groups today as a result of the scores up until Wednesday night.

Stage 12 was a water/mud stage which saw a few teams having problems with overheating from the muddy water. some teams who stopped in the water to winch, who opened their doors found water over the bottom of the seats. so it was pretty deep. havent got many reports from this stage.

Stage 13 was a motorkhana in a quarry. Not much to report again from this stage but the Buggy tore the rear end pretty much out from what i have heard. And Car 61(Ironman) broke the gearbox and are out.

Stage 14 was again another motorkhana stage running in and out of the creek bed, through a couple of splashes and up a winch wall. I got heaps of photos from this stage and there was plenty of excitement!
Car 21 (Buggy) Rolled over backwards twice and never said die until got told to stop by a marshall, a big crowd pleaser, busted a few lights in the process.
Car 32 (EFS racing) was the first to drive the winch wall
Car 60 (AVA race team) barrell rolled off the winch wall, landed on wheels, ended up winching up it and completing the stage with a penalty of taking out a peg in the process, awesome drive.
D&D racing, Todd & Ivan, Birdy, Assassin, ARB Port Macquarie, Madica, Justa Nissan all drove the wall too.
Assassin was quickest on the stage by 1/100th second infront of Birdy.
Car 61 (Ironman) busted a drivers side hub
Car 43 (sausage) busted the tierod, fixed it mid stage and finished the stage.

Tonight consists of two stages so will see what happens tonight. Going into today The Assassin was only 14 points infront of Birdy, so its very close.

By the looks of the lights on the roof and the mud on the bonnet, I suspect this was his second time over.

And no doubt Rob told his old man he was going to have another crack at it.... I think I would have got out too!
