Where to find 30 GQ front diffs?

Post by RUFF »

Anyone have any idea on a wreckers in Aus that could possibly supply 30 GQ front diffs? Dont need Centre, CV, Axles or Free Wheeling Hubs. Must have everything else including brakes, hubs and knuckles and must be in A1 Insurance Quality condition.

Who is the largest wrecker of GQs in Aus? Is there anyone who specializes in these?

Try pricing them new, with that sort of quantity you will have some serious bargaining power, you never know.

I would look at an importers or in NZ where there are no import restrictions. a gq is WAAAAY old by jap specs and a whole car would be a few k tops if that. should be able to get a whole box of them shipped over. I have delt with totally imports a few times and he has always got what I needed even the s15 front cut when there were none anywhere. He is based in page street Kunda Park

I would think complete diffs with oxy cut trailing arms etc would be cheaper than ones unbolted with the center removed.

Cheers Justin
