it all depends on how you drive it but it sounds like it will.

I will also be getting 4.88 gears as well when I upgrade. I don't go stupid very much but don't hold back to much either if that makes any cense. So do u mean it should handle 42's?

With that short a wheelbase you will have no need to go any larger than 39's, probably no need to go any bigger than 37's really. If you run 42's all you are doing is putting extra stresses on various components where the weakest WILL be found.
You will become a better driver & have less mechanical problems running 37's-39's. Unless you are running a wheelbase over 110" many rigs have proven their is no need for bigger than 37's. Look at DGR, 83lux, Firetruck, they all run below 40's & they are more than competitive.

I would be looking at getting some chromo axels for it. There are a few options here in Oz.

McNamara can make you some axels to order that are way stronger than standard. I think Dobbin Engineering also make axels. I would be looking at 30 spline Longfield CVs, too. www.longfieldsuperaxles.com

longfield are good to deal with.
and get the stuff here suprisingly quick and their warranty speaks for itself.
i spoke to some aussie places (buy local and all that) nobody offers the same warranty.
