when i go through water in the 60 it has a fit, wont rev kepps stalling when i try to rev it, its 3f on gas with elect. ign. ive looked at the basic stuff but cant find what is causing it. could it be steam?

when you say basics what do you mean? is water getting in the dizzy and making it run on less cylinders?

no water in dizzy. leads all good, it doesnt take long to come good , mabee about 5 mins, i did change it over to petrol and it ran good when i put it back to gas after 3-4kms it coughed and spluttered abit them was ok.
there is a join in the elect. ign. wires but its not looking like its getting wet.

i had the same issues with my landrover disco V8. would show same symptoms but have absolutely no water iunder dizzy cap as far as I could see - actually looked bone dry. However, short spray with WD40 and a wipe out she started first go and has actually ran better!!!
