mount skene?

is mount skene closed to all use of just 2wds?

reason being is im thinking about heading up in a few weeks and dad reconds they close it but iv seen plenty of people go up it and iv hurd that they only close it to 2wds.

if any one could conferm any of this that would be good

in the paper the article on the 4wd that was stuck last night with the family in it, said they were on a CLOSED ROAD...
only 1 road over skene.... who knows.

It's always a closed road at this time of year and this has been discussed in the past.........and not in the Tech Section ;)
