What would that redline match?

My maverick has a petrol 4.2 and I have always thought the redline looks kinda low as it starts down at 4300rpm or something like that. (It feels about right though.)

The pic has a redline closer to 6000 - do I have a tacho out of a diesel or is the one in the pic from a 3.0 model or something?

You're right, the 8000rpm tacho's were in the 3ltr GQ's. This one is actually quite rare as its a late model one with white numerals which glow green instead of the earlier GQ amber.

Might start bidding myself, just need the white speedo now..........
