Guys another event late in the year sounds great.

All the guys from around Canberra form the The Brindabella Ranges 4WD club guys are keen, as are the Southern Tabelands Club.

If we are on the road by 3 or 4 inthe afternoon it would be good. We are there to drive and compete, the travel home is just part of the weekend.

I just know that the canobolas boys will pull a good track together.
I have had great fun in that area in the past.

Interested in Attending

Post by Mudboy »

The on all 4's Club would be intersted in attending.
In regards to our club running the Woodpecker competitions, we will not be running a comp this year, but you cannot rule it out into the future.

What sort of rigs will you be targeting?
we will be looking at full bodied vehicles , but mods will basically be unlimited , as long as its still a full bodied vehicle with chassis

So what your saying is no buggy type vehicles and must have a full chassis and no tube chassis

Tony this is from the other posting on this comp
Toperi wrote:It will be a 2 day event with competition starting Approx 2pm on Sat 29th November, the first stage will be in the afternoon, the second stage will be at night under lights, the final 2 stages will be Sunday morning to finish by 1pm. Driving time will be around 25-30 mins to complete all 4 stages. All competitors will drive the first 2 stages, even if they break something they will be awarded points at that point on the stage, and can turn up for the next stage. Once out on or after the 3rd stage you will be out. Teams will be 2 cars with the major prize going to the first place team ($1000 so far, may go up), there will be individual prizes as well. Entry fees will be $100 per car, possibly a max of 3 teams per club, min 1 team. The rules for entry will be the same as woodpecker, one class. Rules and Regs will be out by the end of the week.
