SRS indication lamp

I have an issue with the srs (airbags) indicator lamp staying on. As I have no idea where to start looking for the problem i was hoping someone could shed some info pn where to start. It came on after overtaking at high speed. And now does not go off.

Grant I sent you an email with a file from a Yank 98 Paj factory workshop manual on the SRS system, it maybe of help.
But sounds like it maybe a trip to your local Mitsu dealer to plug in their diagnostic tester to see what's up.
