'99 Wizard / Frontera Slow Fuel Filler

I'm Interested to hear if any other Wizard / Frontera owner who has discovered a fix for the following.
I like to get the most out of a tankful of Diesel.
The 80 litre tank gets me close to 800k's if I havent spent too much time driving around the city, or sometimes more if its all open road driving.
My problem is when I come to fill up, the design of the tank filler and breather tubes is far from ideal.
Filling from close to empty (fuel light on), the first 65 litres goes in no trouble. The remaining 15 litres can take probably 10 minites!
The 'diesel head' or foam seems to block the tank breather, which loops around and exits 2'' inside the filler pipe.

I have tried slow filling the while tank so as not to produce so much foam.
The only way currently to get my 80 litres in is to rock the vehicle and this burps the filler and allows some more to go in.

You may-well think I dont have a life or worse, but it is an immense frustration which rates to me as a design flaw.
Another friend who has a similar model thought the tank only took 65 litres!
So I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has conquered this issue.

It has been suggested that different brands of diesel foam worse or better than others and to stick with one like Mobil.

I have a 1994 dual cab rodeo, while I don't have an answer I do have the same problem.
The make of diesel doesn't seem to make a difference.
I get a slight improvement if I can fill up at a servo with a sloping drive way and fill up with the filler on the high side.
A possible improvement may happen if the breather was enlarged from what it is now to something around 13mm, but I haven't tried that.
If you find an answer let us know.

I might have to look at some MU for a bigger fuel tank, I've had a gutful of a piss weak 55 lts std tank. Although in fairness my eyes don't quite bleed when I fill it up at the current diesel price.
