Coil overs, what springs and valving

Post by AFeral »

Those of you running coil overs what units you using, what length. what spring set ups have worked well. What would be a good point to start with the for valving?
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.

Not sure on valving but i can say i wouldn`t use no other coilover spring than eibach or kings. the rest just seem to sag so so quickly. for the shock i`d use fox, radflow, swayaway king coilovers.

I have 10" Kings coil overs they are great, unbelievable compared to the twin shock front I had. We do our own mounts and valving but get them from Rohan Canavan, he will valve them for you if you want. The best way is to start with what's supplied and works from there, testing in the enviroment you are going to use them, I have found with my car you could run quite different valving from an Engle round to a higher speed event, such as cliffhanger.
I have found they do settle somewhat, but as they are adjustable it is easy to restore any lost height.
Cheers
