any body done this??? is the offset rear diff center going to cause probs?

before any body asks iv got cruiser diffs sitting around and want somting stronger in my lux
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

You could always go GQs. They have a centred rear pumpkin like the hilux and are heaps stronger and fairly cheap too.

Alternatively you could just get some longs for your existing lux diffs and probably never have to worry about them again, a lot easier than the engineering headaches associated with a diff swap.

yah thought of that just sold off a heap of parts to pay bills and still have the cruiser diffs so was going to use them as i already had them.
just sold gq diffs and my spare lux diff...... blew up my front diff on mon....

Works a treat , no problems with vibrations, pumpkin is in the same position as the front diff which is a bonus when offroading on ruff stuff and it is way stronger than the 8" grenade that used to live under my Hilux.
I would advise to do the 10mm mod to the axle's though.
