Does anyone know why my fuel pump wont pump fuel?
I can blow fuel up and down the lines and when it turns over fuel does start to slowly fill the filter. One of the lines does have a little kink in it.
any help would be appreciated.

Fuel Pump
Fuel pumps have a limited life. They certainly can and do get "lazy" and they won't lift as well or support high revs. I have had this problem with my 1.0, and seen it numerous times with 1.3's.
Also, bear in mind that there's a partial vacuum in the fuel line beween the tank and the pump when in use. a small split or loose hose can result in air getting drawn in to the fuel line even though there isn't an obivous leak when the car is parked.
If the pumps working properly there will be HEAPS of fuel being flowed up to the carby.
Steve.
