Mt. Dissapointment Navrun 3/4th May,2008

Post by NavRun »

Bainbridge Technologies's Mt. Dissappointment (VIC) NAVRUN 3/4th May, 2008: This is the last Navrun before the Cliffhanger (also the last Navrun event for about 4 months) and this would be an excellant practice event for all of those competing in it to brush up their navigational skills. For those who did the Best of the Best Navrun know how fantastic the terrain is in that area. Being only an hour or so out of the CBD makes it even better. Entry form and further details at www.navrun.com.au

It is also the 2nd last Navrun for 2008, the last one being 31st August at Merringtons Flat, near Walhalla.

Set up all the pics today ... 50 of them.

Rained all day and very slippery stuff. Bog holes are all full but we managed to drive around most.

Tomorrow we do the route maps and we expect some winching action.

Glad I wacked the Silverstones on.

This is pretty close to Melb - 1 hour from Bolte Bridge to camp. Not bad!

I keep forgetting, who are the super troopers? It'd be good (but a PITA) to get a vehicle description in the results.

Supertroopers are the red disco (exactly the same as the one in my avatar :D )and Grey gq wagon at this event. But your right a vehicle description in the results would be a good idea. Hobzee??

Hobzee and I are taking a short break for 2009.

I only event we will be runing is the Cliffhanger and the Amazing Race at Easter.

We will be back for 2010 though. It has been over 5 years of running 8-10 events a year, so a welcome break is welcome.

Remember we still have the Navrun After Darek and Pursuit for 2008 so get your entries in for them. www.navrun.com.au
