extractors

Post by SimplyPV »

well fellas... while replacing my long overdue battery this past weekend, i discovered the problem to my exhuast woes... (noise, puttering, etc) it seems that the donut that connects the exhuast header to the flang has completely come undone... :bad-words: it has finally cracked completely around the entire tube! i'm driving it very carefully in order to not burn any valves and i was forced to place an order for the lukey extractors for new zeland for a grand us total of $351.96 including air express delievery... ouch... i would have saved 60 bucks if i had not needed it asap... but this was all part of my second stage of mods so i guess it cant be too bad. any one have any ideas how long it'll take to get here?

SimplyPV,

I believe that my Lukey's took about ten days with the express delivery from NZ. They arrived at work not in a box but wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap...in perfect condition. Don't worry...they are not as bad as people say for not being completely mandrel bent. You will probably want to do a flow through muffler and at least 2" exhaust...check the cat if you haven't done so already. You WILL notice a power difference  Good Luck!

I found one place over here about six months ago that was selling the Lukeys for AUS$160. Another place wanted over $300!!!

That price for shipping is a killer....
