Hello all again.
Just got back from a helluva run on the beach north of Bunbury WA. My return to work was the only thing to remove the grin plastered to my face ever since.
Quick question,
I have kept my old 2.8Lt turbo diesel motor in the shed since putting in the 4.2 in the Troll. I hope to fit a turbo to the 4.2 in the future and the recent trip highlighted the need for it again.
Can I fit the standard turbo off the 2.8Lt motor to the 4.2Lt motor and have it re-tuned or am I asking for trouble?
I am unsure of the model of Garrett turbo but the Troll is a 1997 model GQ.
If it is possable, the cost savings would be handy as I would only need to outlay $ for a manifold.
Cheers
Dave
