Hey Krim, I noticed that Wayne didn't put your name down there with Trent, Muppet, Al Mac and Pete who are hunting for first place. I just reckon we are there to drink cans then.

Kevy,
Mike signed on as me an wrote that, I wouldn't want to upset a simple Queenslander and the Krim. He said when he had typed it in that you might be offended. :finger:

Haven't been to Ateco before, can anyone help me out with some directions coming from the city. Do you just follow Old Sale Rd all the way from Drouin?

Directions are to take the third Warrugul exit off the Princess Hwy which says Nilma, then head north towards the Old Sale Road, where you turn right and follow this for about 15-20 min till you arrive at the comp site. There will be signs along the way.

Check out page 1 of this topic, there is a map.

these are the directions I have given to the marshal's coming from Melbourne:

From Princess Hwy take the Nilma exit (watch the exit as the cross road comes up very quickly) turn left.
Drive approx 100 meters then turn right (first right) onto Bloomfield road.
Drive approx 8 km turn right onto Old Sale Road
Drive approx 12 – 13 km and Al’s property is on left hand side on a corner.

If coming from Moe:

From Princess Hwy, turn right at traffic lights in trafalgar.
Bear right and then left onto Willow Grove Road.
Drive approx 10 km and turn left onto Old Sale Road
Drive approx 6 km and the property is on the RHS on a corner

The route from Trafalgar is far easier and recommended if you are towing.

agreed. I have found perhaps a 5 minute difference when not towing, but would certainly go via traff with a trailer.

I'm fairly sure there is only one set. It is the only place to cross the railway line for quite a few km and there is a mobil petrol station at the intersection.

If there are road signs there, they will be directing you to Willow Grove.

lets see if this works. It's a link to the map of traf on whereis showing the intersection
